INTERVIEW: Hal Sparks performs for Boston Pride on June 20

Comedian and radio/television personality Hal Sparks will be performing for Boston Pride at Johnny D's Uptown Restaurant and Music Club on Thursday, June 20, at 8:30 p.m.

The politically-charged comedian isn't best known for any one thing as he has his creative hand in all aspects of entertainment, including contributions to VH1, hosting E!'s Talk Soup, and portraying the role of Michael Novotny on the American television series Queer as Folk. Sparks' band, ZERO 1, is set to record a new album later this summer, proving that Sparks can pretty much accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

Sparks recently took the time to chat with Boston Comedy Scene Examiner Angie Frissore about his evolving career and how he isn't one to get comfortable wherever he finds himself. Check out the full interview below.

Tickets are on sale now for $22 and are going fast - don't miss your chance to see this hilarious and talented comedian up close and personal at an intimate venue. Johnny D's is located at 17 Holland Street in Somerville, MA.
